Kimberlie Zakarian is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. The mother of three, Kimberlie has been working with families for the past twenty-two years in counseling, community and church settings. Specialities include anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, stress management, trauma, parenting issues, marital therapy, divorce therapy, women’s issues, teen and children’s issues, bipolar disorder, victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence, sex therapy. She also works with parents of chronically ill and special needs children, clergy and leadership therapy and toxic faith issues.
She incorporates Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Theory and Narrative Therapy to co create, and rewrite with her patients, their life narrative and obtain a new and life-giving story. Kimberlie Zakarian has post graduate training from Harvard University School of Medicine in Attention Deficit Disorder and speaks regularly in the community on psychological issues. Kimberlie has been a columnist for the Los Angeles Times for the past nine years writing her column, Faith and Life. She writes extensively for periodicals and is a published author.
